    The pre-notched (Pom Pom) bow is one of the oldest bow designs commonly used by florists, crafters, bridal shops and other bow makers. They are also called hank bows.
    Each bow consists of several yards of folded ribbon, then a notch is made in the center of the hank, by machine or scissors. That is where the curling ribbon is then tied. To transform such folded ribbon into a nicely shaped bow, loops have to be pulled one at a time.
    This is the way to create a beautiful bow, that cannot be duplicated with a machine. It is the oldest and best way to make a professional looking authentic hand made bow.
