Vintage Matched License Plates - Oregon - 1936

Description

Vintage matched pair of 1936 Oregon License Plates. The plates are in very good condition with a few spots of rust showing. The issue, I tried to show in the photos,  we discovered when we washed the plates. I believe sometime in the past, someone has painted over the black numbers and border. The rust shows the paint loss on the border bottom line. Upon close inspection I can see brush marks and the border edge is not very well done in spots when that closer inspection is done. Realizing this, we felt it important to disclose that fact before any bidding might happen and then the buyer discovers that flaw up on receipt of the plates. Overall the plates have minimal bends and the little rust as shown make these a nice matched pair of vintage Oregon steel plates.

NOTE!! We buy from Estates and Auctions of all sorts so we do not have any control over odors. Keep that in mind when you bid! Please also realize our house, shop and storage areas were inundated with smoke a couple of summers ago from the fires around our house. If there is a smell of smoke, we can only apologize for the smell. We are still trying to get the smoke smell out of our entire inventory, so we ask that you realize this fact when commenting in our ratings.
