    Description

TIM McCOY WILD WEST CIRCUS POSTER - EQUESTRIAN - ROUGH RIDERS - 1938 ORIGINAL TOOKER-MOORE STONE LITHO - PANEL
Nice large panel with great colors on this stone litho from Riverside.  A Tooker-Moore Litho, with vignettes featuring equestrian jumping.
Tim McCoy (1891-1978) left college after seeing a Wild West show, and worked on a ranch in Wyoming.  In he 1920s his movies and accompanying stage show were very popular, most likely because of his first-hand knowledge of the Western life.  McCoy was also an Indian sign language expert.  He had a long performing career, interrupted by his stints in WWI and WWII. In 1973 McCoy was inducted into the Hall of Great western Performers, and in 1974 he was inducted into the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
